My first attemps at photographing water drops

This is one of about 30 photos I took to see if I could capture a water droplet in the sink at my house. This one appears to be the best one out of them all. This was an experiment for me and I need to work on it some more. I did enjoy trying to do it, it was something new to try and very fun.

Memorial Day Blues

It is Memorial Day. I would like to thank all who have given there lives for our freedom and the freedom of others. It has been a tiring day as I have been feeling sick for the last few days. Is some kind of chest, sinus cold I believe so it is leaving me tired. I have been chasing around my 2 yr old son and that doesn't help matters much either. Not to much really going on besides that. I did some updating of my web site. I have also been working on my other blogs. I have finally had to start writing down all my accounts and passwords for all my sites.

Lincoln Camera Club

Just got back from the May Salon for the Lincoln Camera Club. It was hosted at the Knolls restaurant this year and I had a really good time. It is always fun to meet other people that have the same interests in photography as I do. I have been to 2 of there meetings before tonight and this year they invited non-members to go to the May Salon so I was glad to go. I am planing on joining them this month and am looking forward to meeting more people. I invite anyone in Lincoln that has an interest in Photography to come to a meeting. I was really interested in the presenter for the night. His name was Ken Dewey, he works in the Applied Climate Sciences School of Natural Resources for the University of Nebraska. He had a lot of photos about climate issues and Storm chasing. I am always excited to go the the next meetings. I would also encourage people to listen to Photography Podcasts on the Internet. I have learned a lot from those. Just something to think about.

I am starting to see some of my old acquaintances showing up on Face Book and Myspace. Is interesting to see them and how there lives are from 21+ years ago..wow.. time flies when your having fun I guess. I cant say that some of them were "Close" friends but I did go to school with them and talked to them sometimes.

AndrewsGraduation035

AndrewsGraduation035, originally uploaded by tonydstud.

My oldest son graduated last Sunday. It was a very good day except for the problems I had with my camera in the auditorium, but the outside pictures turned out really good.

Why does my life seem so busy??

Damn another month has just about gone by from my last post. I often have things to say and talk about but am just to lazy at times to login and post stuff. Tomorrow my oldest son is graduating from high school. It seems like yesterday that he was just born. Time flies by so fast. I am just glad that he did graduate from high school. I never did and got my GED. But for me that seemed to have worked out for the best in my situation, and honestly hasn't crippled any chances of jobs. I am proud of him.

It has been a busy month for me. I seem to have a lot of stuff going on. I run a web site of old missile site stuff and have been contacted by some people that want to purchase one and I am going to be showing one of the sites here in Nebraska that is for sale to them in June. I am looking forward to that. I enjoy visiting those old sites. I enjoy helping people that buy them and then fix them up. I have also been busy with my photography lately trying to learn all I can about my camera and just busy taking lots of photos. I enjoy photography so much, It takes my mind of a lot of bad things that seem to happen in my life. I recommend to anyone to get a camera even a point and shoot one and just go for it and take pictures of anything that interest you.
